This class learned about drawing people.  They learned to use shapes for the body.

4th grade mononchromatic

We are exploring tints, tones, and shades.

1st grade tree of life

1st graders are making their own version of gustav klimts tree of life.  They were excited to use the metallic paint again.  Next we will glue some sequins to make the trees sparkle.

With my limited instructional time, it is rare that the students get to do something undirected.

6th grade kaleidocycles

This class is making a kinetic sculpture called a kaleidocycle.

4th grade mosaics

This class is learning about mosaics.  They are making their own paper mosaic.

5th grade bobcats

The 5th graders are learning to blend chalk pastels.

2nd grade cartooning

We each made a sketchbook of 4 different characters, trying to focus on personalities.  Then we chose 1 of the characters to make a final drawing.  These are in progress.
